The University Counseling Center at FSU is conveniently located in the Askew Student Center (the same building as the student cinema) on the second floor.
Good news, you aren't alone.

Anxiety is the #1 reasons student seek counseling; stress and adjustment to college are also valid reasons to make an appointment.

You can make an appointment just to talk to a counselor or just stop by and see where the center is located so you can learn a little more about campus and be knowledgeable in case you or a friend ever do need the services.

College is stressful. Our resources can help you if you are experiencing anxiety, and we can also help you learn how to reduce stressors to prevent anxiety from developing.

One-on-One Counseling: meet individually with a counselor to talk about your anxiety or stress, and to talk about other treatment options as needed

Group Therapy: meet in a comfortable and safe group setting, with other students experiencing similar symptoms

Biofeedback Program: an individual, computer based program that teaches anxiety and stress managing tehniques

RENEW sessions: individual instructional sessions that focus on a particular topic like adjustment to college or time management
The UCC is on the second floor of the Askew Student Life Center, is about a 5 minute walk from Landis Green, and is about 4 minutes from Leach Recreation Center.
